consumer research to identify reasons for lagging sales and test alternative
solutions. Discussion groups included purchasers of BC/BS policies, purchasers
of policies from a predetermined list of competitors and non-purchasers. The
resulting data led to changes in the BC/BS advertising, telemarketing,
promotional materials and sales procedures.

Retained to analyze the U.S.
supermarket pet treat industry and recommend an entry strategy for Gimborn's
super-premium pet treats. Utilized secondary source data and primary research
to prepare a detailed profile of the industry, the current competitive
situation and opportunities for entry into the category. Recommendations
included products to be offered, pricing strategy, packaging form/graphics,
brand positioning, target account profiles and all other elements of the
sales/marketing mix.
