Pete has held marketing and new product
positions with H.J. Heinz, Beatrice/E-II and Sara Lee, managing such major
brands as Ore-Ida Frozen Potatoes, Martha White Baking Products and Rudy's Farm
Breakfast Sausage.
Prior to founding SMC, Pete was vice
President of a minority-owned marketing research and consulting
firm.
His career has given him a broad background in packaged goods
marketing and the application of its techniques in other product/service
categories; working on such diverse products as processed meats, frozen foods,
dog food, distilled spirits, tobacco, fast food, welding equipment, public
transit and personal care appliances. This broad base of experience has given
Pete a unique perspective of the differences and similarities across a wide
range of businesses and situations.
A pragmatic marketer, Pete has a track record of dramatically growing
revenue and profits through both enhancement of established
products/services.
